CCO + Cool = CCOol!

Okay, so I couldn’t think of a “pun-nier” title for this piece, but that’s not the point. I got “CCO” in the title, which is good enough for SEO.

Coalition for Christian Outreach (CCO) has the unique endeavor of helping churches, colleges, and other academic organizations. They do this by providing Read more >>

Discover Truth for Yourself…

…with the help of the new Precept website! Congratulations to the Precept team and the Silas team that has been working on this project for several months. While there are a lot of great ideas and features on this site, one area that we’re particularly excited about is the “What is Inductive Study?” feature on the homepage and accompanying introductory pages within the site. This is a great way to introduce new visitors to your ministry and to help them determine their next steps. Take some time to look through this new site!

John Stott Ministries, one of the groups we have the privilege of serving her at Silas, has received a generous matching grant from a foundation. This will allow them to expand their work in Africa. Read about how people are already being affected and how you can help them in this endeavor.

June is here!

June Hunt from Hope for the Heart has been here doing her broadcast daily as well as participating in a bunch of panel discussions and events. She has such a sweet personality. The site Silas Partners assisted her ministry on has launched and the staff is happy! We are happy! We love the new site too! You should also check out a new project she’s working on - iQuestions - it’s a place for people to go who are struggling with life’s issues and allows them to hear biblical direction and encouragement in many areas of life.

A View from The Booth

As Manager of Partner Relations I find it very exciting here in location 1131! Connecting people and helping people to find what they’re looking for is where I get a lot of energy. This is the prime spot for me to be :) People are everywhere and talking with organizations and ministries that can help one another. There are a lot of people that I’ve talked with today who have a real heart for the gospel, and that encourages me tremendously. This morning Jamey and Pete from Precept stopped by for a while - and they are really excited about the launching of their new site. They both told our staff to push them to keep moving the project along. It’s going to be great! They are good people!
