Feedburner gets more free

RSS gets simpler for churches and ministries
Posted by Jacob on July 3, 2007

Mashable is reporting that a fee Feedburner Pro features will be added to free accounts. Woo Hoo! That’s what happens when Google buys you.

We use Feedburner with a number of clients and are very happy with it. If you are thinking about delving into RSS it really is the only way to go.

The new features include better reporting, which makes this an even more attractive package. RSS is on the edge of mainstream adoption so being able to track use is important.

The other major upgrade is the ability to have the URL be from your domain not feedburner. While in general I don’t have a problem using the feedburner domain, there are some churches and ministries who want to present a seamless experience to users. This moves that down the road a bit.

If you would like more info about RSS and how your ministry can benefit, just drop me a line.
