The Emerging Online Donor

Posted by Rhea on March 1, 2007

NonProfit Matrix recently posted about a new comparative study conducted by Target Analysis Group and Donor Digital between offline and online donors.

http://www.nonprofitmatrix.com/blog/default.asp?Display=43
The summary document (which you can download for free) tells us that there’s a growing number of online donors, they generally give more than those who respond by direct mail, and they are pretty loyal (but not as loyal as traditional donors). The research also supports integration between offline and online methods.

(Note: We recently conducted an Integrated Web Strategy seminar at NRB. Download the handout. )

  1. Okay, so I slightly edited the “loyal” reference to online donors. In the study, they found that online donors are almost as loyal as traditional donors (p.7).

  4. Hi Trev,

There’s a quick registration form that you need to fill out, and when the screen refreshes, a list of PDFs should be available for download.

If you need the PDF sent to you directly, you can email me at rhea.paredes@trinetsolutions.com, and I can reply with a copy of the PDF. :)

    Thanks!
    Rhea
