Amazing Grace Screening at NRB

Posted by michael on February 15, 2007

A lot of anticipation is surrounding the movie ‘Amazing Grace’ and I am one individual that is curious to know whether the movie warrents the buzz. At NRB this year, they will be screening the movie on Sunday, Feb 18th at 8pm. I will not be able to see it but if you do go OR you’ve seen the movie elsewhere - let us know what you thought about the movie. Give us a ranking between 1 and 5 (5 being bestest) and lots of adjectives.

For those who are wondering what the blue-hairs-on-scooters i’m talking about: ” it is an epic story of abiding faith and uncommon courage, William Wilberforce and a community of abolitionists awaken the conscience of a nation, taking on the most powerful interests of their day to end the British slave trade. It is the true story of a reluctant leader called to do the impossible and the loyal friends who risk everything to join him.”

  1. Also, check out this site, related to the movie: Amazing Grace Sunday, where you can listen to the Chris Tomlin version of the song “Amazing Grace” and see which churches will be singing Amazing Grace on Sunday.
