The multi-touch screen

Posted by Rhea on January 29, 2007

Maybe the iPhone presentation has points for demo (stage) production quality, but I thought this was similarly mind-boggling. In this video, Jeff Han and Phil Davidson show off a door-sized flat panel computer monitor. More than a living room device to watch widescreen movies from, this computer screen is setting the pitch for change in the way we interact with computers. Adam Penenberg from Fast Company wrote an article recapping the original presentation of the technology at the 2006 TED conference, documenting audience response that you will probably resonate with after watching.

P.S. Watch out for the portion where they pull up wikipedia.com. It astounds me how tiny 1024 pixels looks. :o)
